Banky and Obanikoro were defeated in Eti-Osa by Labour Party
INEC has declared Mr. Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party as the winner of Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in House of Representatives.
The Labour Party won the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in Nigeria, defeating Banky W and Obanikoro.
– This victory is a huge setback for the ruling APC party and signals a possible change in government.
– This election was also the first federal constituency to be conducted using the new voting system, which saw greater turnout than previous elections.
Prof Funmilayo Odukoya declared the winner of a Lagos State election on Sunday.
The winner, Attah, won with 24,075 votes against his opponents from PDP and APC who had 18,666 and 16 901 respectively.
-She reported the votes for three other candidates in an election: Mr Oladehin Olufemi (African Democratic Congress) with 1,422 votes; Mr. Azeez Kabirat of New Nigeria Peoples Party with 414 votes; and Mr. Olasunkanmi Ololade from Social Democratic Party with 207.
The leader of a political party has declared that they will not accept the results until another election takes place in all wards where people were disenfranchised.
Security agents including police and army are present to ensure safety and peace.
