SERAP urges Tinubu to declare assets before inauguration.

In an open letter dated May 27, 2023, signed by SERAP Deputy Director Korawole Olwadare, the group urged Tinubu to start over and do what is necessary.

SERAP’s Deputy Director, Kolawole Oluwadare, wrote an open letter to Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, asking them to start on a clean slate and impress them on Kashim Shettima to do the same. SERAP noted that President Muhammadu Buhari used a similar hollow anticorruption phrase in 2015, but he has not ‘killed corruption’ nor obeyed court judgments on transparency and accountability.
