A national honor has been bestowed upon Davido.
Akokacon2023-06-16T05:21:33+00:00David Adeleke, a Nigerian Afrobeat superstar and songwriter, aka Davido has been awarded the national honour by the Federal Government.
On Sunday, the ministry of special duties and intergovernmental affairs declared the award in different cadres.
Besides Davido, several other prominent Nigerians received awards from Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, including the Multi-award-winning filmmaker Kunle Afolayan was also awarded the OON, Nigerian footballer, Victor Osimhen, was awarded an MFR (Member of The Order of Federal Republic). Victor’s goal earned Napoli its first Serie A title in 33 years, and over 300 recipients.
